We’re searching for a Full-Time Member Service Representative for our Topsham Branch location. The chosen candidate will become an advocate for our membership and will assist our team in accomplishing all objectives associated with the “People helping People” philosophy.

The preferred requirements are as follows:

  • 1-2 years Member Service experience preferred (Will provide training and education to the ideal candidate who is a great cultural fit, even though no experience in the financial industry)
  • A strong knowledge of internet and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to communicate and cross service CU products
  • Acquire strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player who is self-motivated, organized, detail oriented/multi-tasker
  • Kind, caring and passionate in helping others
  • Actively participating and contributing within your local community
  • High-School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Certification

This full-time position offers a generous base salary, an 80% employer-paid medical plan, as well as a 100% employer-paid dental and life insurance plans (immediate upon hire); a 401k retirement program (immediate upon hire), an average of twelve-paid holidays, and up-to five weeks paid vacation per year.

We are searching for a full-time Lending Expert | Sales Expert that can be housed at any one of our eight branch locations.  The chosen candidate will become an advocate for our membership and will assist our team in accomplishing all objectives associated with the “People helping People” philosophy.

The Loan Service Advisor is responsible for processing consumer loans in a manner that builds and maintains successful member relationships by funding and servicing loans to member’s complete satisfaction, while simultaneously ensuring that supporting documentation and records are accurately prepared according to DECU’s policies and procedures. Meets or exceeds all funding goals with minimum errors and processes pending loans in a timely, consistent manner. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively prioritize, multi-task, and be detail oriented and act as a support to the loan sales team.

Preferred requirements include:

  • 1-2 years of Lending | Sales experience preferred
  • A strong knowledge of applications such as CUNIFY, Loans PQ|Meridian Link, Frost Menu, Century Portal, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Explorer
  • Ability to demonstrate an unsurpassed commitment to exceptional member service
  • Ability to communicate and explain products and services in ways members can understand
  • Acquire strong written and verbal communication skills, providing timely and accurate information, responses and decisions to internal and external members
  • Team player who is self-motivated, organized, and measures self against standards of excellence
  • Kind, caring and passionate in helping others, and keenly aware of personal, team, departmental and company wide goals and is able to prioritize work to achieve funding goals, as well as sales goals
  • Actively participating and contributing within your local community
  • High-School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Certification
