Downeast Credit Union recently hired Randy Bowen to join the new Team of Lending Experts including Jason Theriault and Katie Knights. Lending Experts are a specialized group of Downeast Credit Union’s Expert Care Team; they go above and beyond to assist members and non-members with lending questions, applications and closings.

It is not unusual for Katie, Jason and Randy to fall back on our excellent relations with auto dealers to ensure our member is getting the best deal possible when buying a new vehicle, helping to save our members money.”
The Lending Experts are now accessible in any of the eight Downeast CU branches thanks to technology, and they have already helped members across the state to secure financing on automobiles, personal loans and credit cards. Randy comes to Downeast CU with six years of experience in sales and finance, serving customers through the auto purchasing experience at Pratt’s dealership in Calais. Katie has been with Downeast CU for four years, with her last two exceeding expectations in the lending department. Jason is a 14-year veteran of DECU with nearly 13-years of turning members into Raving Fans with his lending expertise.
