Position Overview:

The CSR works closely with our account managers and our clients to provide them with the service they deserve. This team member is a problem solver who thrives on building relationships while assisting clients with their personalized insurance solutions.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answers phone to be the first level of help to answer the clients expressed and unexpressed needs.
  • Takes inbound calls from client and potential clients to gather initial information for quoting of new business. Enters information in Applied Epic for Account Managers
  • Assists as needed in the quoting of new business
  • Process requested changes to policies with carriers.
  • Handles billing issues and process claims as they arise.
  • Follows up on requests from insurance carriers.
  • Perform clerical functions including (but not limited to): answering agency phone calls, processing ID Cards, Binders, Evidence of Property, Certificate of Insurance, Cancellations, assisting in processing client payments, and other duties as assigned.
  • Processes daily agency mail
  • Processes daily agency downloads into the Agency Management System.
  • Document all necessary information in the agency management system and processes activities in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Continually develop strong knowledge of insurance coverages and carrier appetites.
  • Maintains a positive and professional relationship with clients, fellow team members, and insurance company representatives.
  • Creates a client-centered experience.
  • Attends monthly team meetings and weekly team huddles.

This full-time position offers a generous base salary, benefits available upon date of hire are an 80% employer-paid medical plan, 100% employer-paid dental and life insurance plans, a 401k retirement program where the employer provides a 5% match, an average of twelve-paid holidays, up-to five weeks paid vacation per year, and educational opportunities.
