We are searching for a Contact Center Agent that will be located in our Belfast Branch. The chosen candidate will become an advocate for our membership and will assist our Team in accomplishing all objectives associated with the “People helping People” philosophy.

The preferred requirements are as follows:

  • Acquire strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player who is self-motivated, organized, detail oriented/multi-tasker
  • Kind, caring and passionate in helping others
  • Manage large amounts of inbound | outbound calls and electronic communications in a pleasant, professional, and efficient manner.
  • Identify members’ needs, clarify information, research every issue, and provide solutions and | or alternatives.
  • Listen and understand the members needs and seize opportunities to cross-sell products | services.
  • Continuously check member service voice mail, email, secure and electronic channels and reply to these requests in a timely manner.
  • Responds to member online registration requests.
  • Open | close accounts, verify accounts, process stop payments on share draft accounts, order cards, and answer questions regarding share accounts, share drafts, VISA cards, IRAs, certificates, etc.
  • Assist members with basic questions regarding their loans.
  • Assist members with digital services.
  • Collect the information for incoming and outgoing wire requests.
  • Mail, email, or send the loan application or online links to members or prospective members.
  • Responsible for researching member inquires to ensure proper follow up and satisfaction.
  • May be required to fill in for branch member service representatives when needed.
  • Ensure that all Credit Union member and team member related business is kept in the strictest confidence.
  • Treat all Credit Union members and team members with a positive and cooperative attitude.
  • Meet personal | team qualitative and quantitative targets.
  • Member Service experience preferred (Will provide training and education to the ideal candidate who is a great cultural fit, even though no experience in the financial industry)
  • High-School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Certification

This full-time position offers a generous base salary, benefits available upon date of hire are an 80% employer-paid medical plan, 100% employer-paid dental and life insurance plans, a 401k retirement program where the employer provides a 5% match, an average of twelve-paid holidays, and up-to five weeks paid vacation per year.
